What six months of stopping, reworking, and rebuilding has taught me

I’ve been a little absent of late. Not intentional and whilst I am a believer in consistency of content, I also believe in doing what is right for you at the right time.

Since exiting my startup last year, I’ve spent most of my time helping leaders and companies build their personal brands and learning, up close, what really works. Yesterday I reached a milestone of 100 personal brand plans delivered!

But on the side, I’ve been quietly building something I know is needed. Something I wish I had years ago. Something I am so bloody excited about!

It’s called Brandiie and to be honest, in the last six months I’ve rebuilt it more times than I can count. Every version felt close… but not quite right.

But every time I followed the same pattern…. I paused, focused, leaned into feedback and reworked. Over and over again.

Not because I lost belief, but because I refused to ship something that didn’t do what I promised it would: make personal branding simple, human, and actually useful.

The early versions were too complex and too much thinking, not enough doing. I wanted it to feel intuitive, fast, and grounded in real work and not theory. I wanted the results to be instant.

Then came the moment everything shifted.

I received some honest feedback. You know… the kind that hits hard because you know it’s true. In parallel, I was testing the product and could feel in my gut it wasn’t there yet. One thing I learned from years of running a startup: you have to know when to stop and when to keep going.

And in that moment, I knew I needed to stop.

To pivot slightly.

To trust my instinct.

I’m so grateful I did, because instead of months pushing something that wasn’t working (and spending more money), I course-corrected early. The product I have now is exactly where I want it to be.

The last six months have been equal parts humbling, energising and hard work. I’ve tested features, gathered feedback, and (honestly) let go of ideas I loved.

Because loving an idea isn’t enough. It has to work for real people, in the real world.

And here’s what I’ve landed on: Most people don’t need another course, playbook, or theory. They need a tool that gets it done in under an hour.

That’s what Brandiie is now.

In 60 minutes, you’ll walk away with your entire personal brand defined: 10 pages. 50 content ideas. Your content lanes, your unique authority, your clear voice all done.

And then, it hands you your own AI Brand Command. Your personal AI copilot that helps you use that brand every day to create consistent, on-brand content with ease.

Every framework I’ve ever built, every system I’ve used with clients and it’s all inside. Years of work distilled into something simple and powerful.

If this sparks something for you and if you’ve been craving clarity, confidence, and a brand that actually feels like you, hit reply or DM me.

I’d love a few thoughtful testers in this next stage.

Because after months of refining, one thing’s clear: Pausing wasn’t a setback. It was the smartest move I could’ve made.

Sometimes clarity doesn’t come from doing more.It comes from stopping long enough to see what really matters.
